Ces woke me up this morning by jumping into bed with Tesla, being all playful. She wanted to go check out this new place she found, for breakfast. So I got out of bed and took care of Tesla, and we got ready to leave.
On the way to the restaurant, though, Ces and I were talking and she changed her mind. We settled on going to London Cafe for breakfast. I had their California Benedict and she had a burger. Their food is always great. The California Benedict is served with Canadian bacon, tomato, avocado, and a poached egg with hollandaise sauce.
After that, we decided to go to Ross and Five Below real quick, before we went grocery shopping. We found some neat stuff. One thing was this crystal honey jar. Cecily found a few shirts she can wear to work.
At Five Below we didn’t find a lot we wanted, but she wanted a glass bottle Coke. One thing we did find was these Christmas socks with matching animal socks. The pet socks are gripped with little paws, too. I decided “Why not?” because I wanted to see if the grips would give Tesla better traction on the hard floor. (Spoiler alert, it didn’t really. LoL)
After that, we went over to Pennywise on Hwy 6, because I had some old clothes to donate. Unfortunately, when we got there we discovered they were closing down, permanently, and were not taking anymore donations. We didn’t find anything to buy, while there, though. After that, I decided to go to the nice Kroger, so that I could donate to Goodwill, instead. After we got home and put up groceries, we tried the socks on Tesla. He was hilarious with them on. LoL!
We tried to fit them on the cat, but she didn’t let them stay on very long. LoL!
After grocery shopping, we had planned to hang out with Josh for a bit. We had this pizza that has hot honey and pepperoni. It was really tasty! We also picked up some vegetarian corn dog bites, to eat as an appetizer. They tasted great!
Then for dessert I made banana splits with Blue Bell vanilla ice cream, Reddi Whip, Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup, and Bourbon Cherries.
We hung out a bit and watched a few episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, then I took Josh home so he could head out to his girlfriend’s. I came home and played some rounds of Modern Warfare 2 again, with Canadian.
