Today I was scheduled for my first IT audit, so I woke up extra early to make sure I was prepared. I had Cecily wake me up so I could make her a smoothie to take to work. We recently found these bags of frozen purple sweet potatoes that has a recipe on the back for a smoothie. Since I started making it, she’s been enjoying it for breakfast.
After she left for work, I hopped on XBox to play Destiny 2, to get as much as I could done before the end of the season. I ran through seasonal content that I neglected, during the season, because I got sucked into Gambit. (Got my last Super kill, btw!) When the season ended, I got up to get read for Tesla’s trip to the park.
I let Tesla play at the park for about an hour, before it was time to head back. Towards the end, Tesla started getting really frustrated with this large Lab puppy that was getting more rough than Tesla normally likes. The dumb-dumb kept going back for more, but then getting more frustrated, after. LoL!
It was when the Lab started grabbing at Tesla’s rear leg, is when I decided it was time to wrap it up. When Tes’ leg got grabbed, I showed him bear teeth, so I just had Tesla stay beneath my feet, while I separated the two long enough to get Telsa to go back to the gate.
We got back to the house just before rain was starting to come down. When I got home, I showered and got dressed to get ready for my first audit. I got to the school just before 1 o’clock, and had to get turned away, because the students in the school were testing. Since they couldn’t guarantee what time the testers would be done, they couldn’t let me wait. Thankfully, I still got paid for the audits, and I’ll just have to schedule to come back out and do the audits, next time.
After that, I decided to head up to the mall because I wanted to see of the JC Penney location still had the jacket I wanted. Thankfully, they did! I was able to get the staff to agree to match the online price, as per their website’s advertised policy about matching the online pricing. (Really kinda irritated, though, becuase I would’ve bought it when I was up there with Josh!)
After shopping at JC Penney, I headed out into the mall to check out some stores. I stopped off at Torrid and found a gift idea for Cecily, that I think she’s going to like.
When I was done shopping I went to the food court at First Colony Mall to grab a bit at this place called Incredible Burger. Dude, their burgers are great! The beef patty is deliciously seasoned and the buns are wonderfully fresh. They reminded me of the burgers I had at Mr. Beast Burgers, but far better tasting!
The combo came with a drink and these deliciously seasoned fries that were really great!
Once done with lunch I came back home to take care of more things around the house, and great ready for dinner and to stream.
I tried to stream for a bit, but had to cut it early because of some things I needed to do around the house.
After dinner Cecily and I sat down to watch A Christmas Story Christmas. It was a pretty good movie that had a lot of funny moments.
After that, I hopped onto the Xbox to run some more WarZone games. This night we had some really great games. One of them, I managed to bring Canadian and I both back from the brink by winning our Gulag match! Then in another game, we got knocked out together in 5th place, while I was sniping a bunch of people from under a bush.
After that, I headed to bed.
