Woke up this morning to take Ces to work. Had to have the car, so I could figure out what’s going on with mine. We went to Starbucks for coffee and I grabbed their breakfast burrito. (Flavor wise, it’s just a McDonald’s breakfast taco, with more eggs and sausage.)
After dropping her off at work, I headed back home where I got to work on some more journal covers. I used some of my favorite digital arts I created back in High School. I created 4 more, for a total of 5 that will be available for purchase off Amazon, soon. Once they are, I’ll put links up.

After that, I had to get started on taking care of the car. I bought the battery that’s in the car, in August, from Walmart. So I pulled it out and took it up to the nearest Walmart, to get it tested and exchanged.
When I got into the Walmart, I didn’t get greeted by anybody at the front dor. So I went to customer service, to ask that they sticker my battery for a return. While there, the lady behind the counter proceeded to tell me that I needed to get a sticker from the door. To which I responded with “I just walked to here, from that door, and nobody was there to sticker it.”
Enter, the coach. This guy asks me if I’m returning the battery, and explains that I need to go to automotive. I told him “Sure, I will once you sticker this so nobody accuses me of stealing, when I’m walking through the store, if I walk back out with the same battery.” Finally, the dude just tells me to go ahead and go to automotive.
Once I’m back there, I’m met with two other gentlemen that were trying to help, but with different issues. The guy processing the return asks for a receipt that has the Serial # on it. I bought the item online, for in-store pick-up, so I’m gonna go with ‘Nope’. He proceeds to tell me that he can’t help me if I can’t provide that. So I pulled up the invoice in browser, and show it to him. I’m like, “This is all I got, and you’re gonna get from me. Sorry, but I can’t help you figure this one out, if you need the Serial # on the receipt.”
All the while, the other gentleman proceeds to tell me that I should’ve gotten it stickered. I explained that nobody was there to sticker it, and he tells me to go back up front. (Yeah-naw) And I told him “They told me to come back here.” Dude kept pushin’! Till I finally just stated, “I just got told by the Coach behind the front counter. Call up to them, and ask for whomever that is, to explain.” *Rolls eyes*
Back to the main issue, though, they had to call two other people up, to finally get it resolved! After we all chilled, we all apologized for the mix-up, and went our ways.
I went to the Clearance section, and found a few good finds. One was this tie and belt rack that really well fits our closet system. It’s called the Rubbermaid Configurations Tie & Belt Valet. The thing was on Clearance for $7.00! I picked up two of them. One for my ties and belts, and one for her scarves.
I also found this cute Marvel material, too. I’m thinking about using it to add pockets to some of my jeans.
On my way out, Ces asked if I’d bring Tesla when I came to pick her up. I agreed, so I headed home and picked the pup up. Traffic was a bit stupid, on the way there. One numbskull was constantly changing lanes, thinking he’d get ahead, at the point where 59 turns onto 610 South. Other than that, it was mostly smooth sailing.
I got to the office, and Tesla was overall a very good pup. He was mostly on his best behavior, even when Cecily asked that I take him off leash, to let him have the zoomies all across the office. He got tons of attention, and ate it all up. After that, we headed back home.
When we parked, we still had to go to the front office to talk to this dude about the new apartment parking policy. I wound up asking so many technical questions that completely went over the dude’s head. LoL! Big shock. While there, they served Pizza Hut, so we went ahead and ate a few slices.
Once home, I tested out the battery in the car. They gave me a replacement, stating that the one I brought in was dead. (Dude tried to explain to me that if it’s only a few months old, then this is a sign of a bad alternator. I’m like “yeah dude, I know. That’s why when I get home, I’m gonna test that theory.”) Well, sadly enough more good news, today. The car started. But funny thing is, now that means that the alternator is bad, and isn’t returning the charge to the battery.
Oh, and to add icing on the cake, I’ve now got a problem with fucking moisture in the carpet, again! I checked the coolant, and that’s still filled, but I have no idea what it is! The heater core is still likely intact.
So yaaaay, more even MORE good news.
Now I’m gonna have to get up and hook the battery back up, to drive it to Pep-Boys to be dropped off for inspection, diagnosis, and estimate. *SIGH* Fucking great. More money to spend.
After cleaning up the cars, I headed back in to watch tv with Ces. We watched a few episodes more of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and then hopped on to stream a little bit more. (Wound up getting on later, again, cuz of all the shit going on.)
I started on Neverwinter, to complete the campaign weekly for the new campaign. After that, it was time to hop into some Duos with Canadian.
We had a couple of really good games, this time. One game, I wound up floating myself slowly down to a 5th place win for out team. Hah!
We hung out to play several games, before I hopped off to watch ‘The Bad Batch’ before heading to bed.
Here’s to finding out what they say, tomorrow.
