This morning I woke up a bit late because I thought I had been informed all remaining audits I had scheduled this week got cancelled, due to finding out the schools were doing testing.
While I was hanging out on the computer, talking to Cecily, I got a call from the manager telling me that they wanted me to still go to the audits. So I had to hurry to get ready, because I wanted to not get there later than 1 PM. I’d rather not get stuck traffic while the students were being released.
The audit went pretty smoothly, and the IT dude was cool to have conversations with during the process, too. Sounds like it’s really cool to work for that school, too.
After the audit, I headed out to grab a bite to eat. I stopped off at this restaurant across the street from us, that has really delicious food! It’s this small place called A&N’s Halal Kitchen. We’ve been there a few times, before, and everything we’ve had has tasted great!
Today, I tried their lamb over rice, which was amazing. The rice was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The lamb was tender, juicy, and amazingly flavorful. They had a little bit of lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumber on the rice, too, and everything was topped with a red sauce that tasted like modified Frank’s Red Hot, and a white sauce that was close to ranch.
While sitting and eating lunch, I hopped online to check and I found out that my first journal got posted for sale! I can’t wait for the others to get posted, too! Also, I’m gonna start doing ones with my photography on the covers, too! This is pretty fun, and I hope some people like them!
After lunch I headed home to clean around the house, take care of dishes, and get dinner started.
I popped some ribs in the oven, that I had seasoned the day prior. With that, Cecily made some green beans and a potato salad that she got from a restaurant as a side. While that was cooking, I was sitting down streaming and playing Neverwinter for about an hour and a half, before Josh got on.
When I finished the weekly stuff for the new campaign, I got onto Destiny 2 to run some stuff. I ran through Gambit matches and currently I’ve not lost a match since the new season started. (I also managed to get the Black Armory triumph, for winning with all Gambit gear!) Then Josh hopped on to run through some story content, so he could get his light level up.
After gaming, I hopped offline and decided to soak in the tub before heading to bed.
